Training, Qualifying, and Hiring 20 Young People with Learning Disabilities to Work in Private Institutions
Kuwait, 22 June 2022: In an unprecedented move, the Manpower and Restructuring Program cooperated with a global educational institution to train, qualify, and recruit 20 young people with learning disabilities on the occasion of signing a contract with Qalam Foundation for Special Education.
The general secretary of Manpower and Restructuring Program, Fawzi AlMajdali, explained that the aim is to provide a professional life for people with learning disabilities and enhance their professional skills while making use of the potential of youth, particularly from different groups. Therefore, on Thursday, they signed with the Qalam Foundation, represented by Sheikh Ohoud Salem AlAli AlSabah, Chairman of the Company, Dr. Essa AlSaadi, Director General of the Company, and Ismail AlSaadi, Executive Director, to implement this qualification and training program with the aim of enabling this category to obtain career opportunities in the private sector.
Sheikha Ohoud Salem AlAli AlSabah, stated at the signing ceremony, “I am very delighted with this achievement we are moving towards as it is the first initiative of goodness in this national project, and our first goal is to serve this country that has given us so much, and I have observed the importance and role of Kuwait in serving our youth with learning disabilities.”
