Al Ahd Al Khaled

Based in Kuwait, Al Ahd Al Khaled was founded in 2017 to support and execute humanitarian projects in Egypt. Since its inception, the non-profit supported schools in various Egyptian governorates, granted scholarships to economically disadvantaged students and refugees in Egypt, and built wards in public hospitals to support in-patient and out-patient care.

Achievements

  • Funding the establishment of 50 community schools in Sohag and Assiut in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
  • Supporting above 1500 students (females and males) aged 6 to 14 years old.
  • Granting 9 university scholarships to students who are visually impaired and have graduated from the national school system to support their education journey and help them enroll in undergraduate programs.
  • Granting 30 university scholarships to underprivileged students based in Egypt. The scholarships support students in Upper Egypt to enroll in prestigious universities and obtain their undergraduate degrees in the field of engineering and science.
  • Offering individual scholarships that include tuition fees, school enrollment requirements, transportation and living expenses for a number of male and female students in Egypt.
  • Construction of specialized medical wards in public hospitals, especially Ahl Masr Hospital for Burns.
  • Providing a financial grant to the ENVISION Foundation, which specializes in treating patients with cancer and epilepsy, and spreading care for women for periodic examinations and precautions against breast cancer.
